After an extensive revitalization, the Groninger Museum was festively reopened in December 2010. The museum chose IJsfontein Interactive Spaces to invent and develop new experiences and interactive opportunities.

In Short

After an extensive revitalization, the Groninger Museum was festively reopened in December 2010. Not only was the building itself renewed but the visitors experience also underwent a transformation. This was in part due to the addition of an innovative information centre which replaced the existing library. As a visitor you will find eight information corners that offer videos, books, exhibition information and much more. Experience it for yourself at the Groninger Museum.

Create your Collection

An interactive installation offers the possibility to discover the unique building and its architecture in 3D and take a personal journey through their extensive collection. Finally, the GMcollector allows you to create your own virtual collection to ‘take home’. The museum chose IJsfontein Interactive Spaces to invent and develop new experiences and interactive opportunities.
