How it works
On the website a large number of rich click images are provided in which all subjects are explained in a playful manner. Children can look up subjects about their own living environment. They can also manage water themselves. In a game alternating conditions are imitated. It is for the player to decide between balancing the water level by opening or closing sluices.
IJsfontein has also realized a custom-designed Content Management System (CMS), enabling the Association of Regional Water Authorities to add new information on the website themselves.
Who is Droppie?
The character Droppie Water (that has been drawn for the Association of Regional Water Authorities by Robert van der Kroft since 1982) takes children by the hand and teaches them about a variety of subjects and themes involving water.
Result
Droppie water is watched regularly. The site attracts an average of 400 visitors a day. Many visitors often return to the site.
