It is crucial that railway personnel are able to recognise signs and signals, but it can be hard to obtain this knowledge from a manual. The Signal Game was designed to help railway personnel improve their knowledge of the many signs and signals.
The Signal Game provides comprehensive information on signs and signals used in and around Dutch railways. Mini-games test players’ knowledge. Their next challenge is to pilot a train from Point A to Point B on a virtual railway track in a safe, quick and cost-efficient manner.
The action-based Signal Game allows players to learn independently. They are actively involved and try to find various ways to solve problems. If necessary, they can request information.
A testimonial from a player: ‘I greatly enjoyed my introduction to the Signal Game. What a fun way to relive the things I used to come across on a daily basis while working for NS and Prorail!’
